Saline Removal

It's not all bad news.. tattoo removal is possible and available to clients with new and old tattooed brows. 

The process involves fading or completely removing unwanted tattoo from the skin using one of two methods: laser and saline removal.  We use saline removal because it is a non-invasive treatment that contains a fruit seed extract saline tattoo lightening product that is non-chemical, non-acid, and high salt based.

So, what does it involve? it involves either applying or tattooing (depending on how old the tattoo is) a saline solution into the area of an unwanted tattoo to lift it out of the skin. The saline solution we use contains a high concentration of salt water which is absorbed into the dermis where the pigment lays, the components in the solution combined with the levels of salt in our bodies cause a reaction that forces the pigment to rise to the surface. 

How soon can I get them removed? Here's the good news..immediately! If you’ve had your eyebrows tattooed within a 48-hour period, we can apply the solution to the skin. This is called an emergency removal.  The brows begin to heal after 48 hours, which means they cannot be removed until they have healed at 6 weeks. For older tattoos, the method is slightly different; instead of applying the solution to the skin, we tattoo the solution into the skin. To aid removal, both methods require a thorough aftercare routine. To remove the pigment from older tattoos, more than one session is likely. This is due to the pigment being implanted deep into the skin. With each session the pigment will continue to rise closer to the surface until it comes out of the skin.
