Just like any form of art, preparing the canvas for application is crucial. Following the pre-treatments instructions will ensure you ‘re fully prepared for your appointment.
STEP 1: The first step is to make sure you meet the age requirements. In Victoria, you must be 18 years old or over to receive a tattoo. Parental consent in our state is not permissible.
STEP 2: One of the most important steps is checking your suitability. Some medications and health conditions can interfere with the procedure and increase side effects, these are categorised as contraindications. You can find a list of the contraindications below:

STEP 3: Once you've confirmed your suitability, it's time to choose a technique that is right for you. You can read about the different techniques under "more info" on our website. Each technique creates a different look, at our studio we offer powder brows which as the name suggests is a soft powdery brow that gives the appearance of very light makeup look. We also offer Combination brows which is hair-like strokes at the front of the brows and a powdery finish from the middle to the ends of the brows. After choosing the brow style for you, it's time to book your appointment. We've made booking easy, simply click "book now" below.
STEP 4: The last step is to prepare for your appointment. This is a critical step in increasing your retention. Caffeine, for example, is a blood thinner, and if your blood flows too quickly to the surface, the pigment will not have a chance to enter the skin. Follow the instructions below to optimise your results:
Six Weeks before your appointment:
Stop all use of active skincare e.g retinol, Vitamin A, Exfoliants (AHA etc)
One week before your appointment:
- Please avoid any Fish oils
24-48 hours before your appointment:
-No alcohol or caffeinated drinks (tea, coffee, energy drinks etc)
-No blood-thinning medications (ibuprofen, fish oils etc)
The day of your appointment:
-Wash your hair on the morning of your appointment so you don't have to wash it over the next couple of days
-Don't wear any makeup to your appointment
-Make sure your sheets and pillowcases are clean
-If you have your period, it may increase the pain as your skin is more sensitive during this time
